Unyielding is a newly reformed casual/core raiding guild. We run Alliance on the Bladefist server. Coming from two of the top guilds on the server, we have merged into Unyielding. We are currently the #1 Alliance guild in terms of overall progression as well as 10-man progression.
We are currently recruiting skilled raiders for Mists of Pandaria that are progression oriented, easy-going, and like to have fun. Just whisper any of our officers that are online for more information!
We took two days off for Thanksgiving but we're still downing bosses! Heart of Fear is now clear, and we're pretty close to clearing Terrace of Endless Springs! Best of luck to Holberg, our warlock (The best warlock on Bladefist), who has recently left our team. Real life always comes first!
Empress down! Pretty fun fight, didn't take our group very long to learn either!
Protectors pretty easy! Like most other guilds, we downed this within a couple of pulls not even knowing what the boss did. Elite mode next?
Tsulong! We actually struggled on this boss for a little bit, Took us about 4-5 pulls I think to down him, but luckily our healers rock, and our DPS know how to kill stuff!
Killed on a mispull, how funny is that? Losing our warlock really hurt for this fight, but luckily we pugged a great player to help step in and help us down it! Sha you're going down!
Been a month or so since the main page has been updated with news! But not much has changed! Unyielding still remains the #1 Alliance guild in terms of overall progression. Shout-outs to Insurgency though for clearly stepping up their game and making Bladefist a much more progressed server, having full clears of HoF and ToES already. We might have been closer if Hurricane Sandy didn't strike! But on-to our kills.
Man oh man, losing 40% of your raiders for a week due to a hurricane totally totally sucks. After pugging a bunch of people and then subsequently dropping them, we eventually got the Imperial Vizier down with alternate guildies pre-nerf as well! Thanks for stepping in to assist guys ;) (Veletta, Chiruku, Blindii, Shades!)
Our second kill, Blade Lord! It was a hard hard kill after all of our raiders came back and we had to scramble to try to finish up for the raid week, but he was no match for us! Sometimes I really wish we had a dedicated bench like 25man guilds do.
Garalon down! Pre and post nerf/buff. So confusing, they added a minute to the enrage, then removed cleave classes absurd bonus. Either way, boss was DOWN!, the nerf didn't affect us too much since we can't and don't class stack like most 25man guilds would.
Stupid Wind Lord! This was an upsetting kill more or less. We had the right strategy for our group and were poised for a kill, but Blizzard bugs the boss so he is unkillable in 10mans...Lost a whole raid night due to this bug, combine that with the week lost due to Sandy and we're pretty far behind. Either way, after the reset he was cake. No problem.
Our raid team took a little break and downed Feng on heroic! Seemed like such a waste since we learned the fight before HoF came out, but Sandy + New raid seemed much more attractive.
Our most recent kill, pretty fun fight Amber Shaper, reminded me of Professor Putricide sort of. RNG played a big part in this fight due to healers getting constructed on, (a big issue in 10mans), but eventually we did everything right and downed the boss! Empress we're coming for you! Shoutout to Skaffles in the back as a construct.
Totally unfortunate week! 1-shot Will of the Emperors! One of our main DPS is in the hospital (Get well soon Capo!), but we perserved, and downed our first Heroic boss with a 440ilvl Monk that just hit 90 the previous day! Anyways onto our kills!
1 shot this boss, Totally fun, amazing tank fight. So fun!
Losing a main dps really hurt for this fight, but we managed to down heroic stone guard after some attempts! Shoutout to Chiriku for stepping in even though he just hit level 90.
